Safari lodge on the river in Karongwe Game Reserve with twice-daily game drives

Suites & Grounds

The lodge offers Luxury, Executive One-Bedroom, Family, and Presidential Suites, each with air conditioning and a private terrace. The property includes a garden, an outdoor swimming pool with a pool bar and a shallow end, and a shared lounge area. Guests have access to sun loungers, beach towels, and an outdoor fireplace and sun terrace.

Dining & Drinks

Meals are provided on a full-board basis and include two daily game drives. A complimentary sundowner is served during the afternoon drive, offering one local beer, house wine, or soft drink per person. The restaurant also provides a bar, kids' meals, special diet menus, and wine or champagne for purchase.

Safari & Activities

Two daily game drives (morning and afternoon) take place across the 10,000-acre Karongwe Game Reserve, led by professional guides and trackers. Additional activities include cooking classes, walking tours, and tours about local culture. For relaxation, the lodge offers board games, a kids' club, and a shared lounge with TV area.

Wellness & Relaxation

The spa and wellness centre provides massage treatments and spa or wellness packages. The outdoor swimming pool is open all year, with a pool bar, sun loungers, and umbrellas. Guests can also use the sun terrace and garden for quiet time between drives.

Family & Accessibility

The lodge offers babysitting or child services, a kids' club, and family rooms for those travelling with children. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, lower bathroom sinks, and grab rails in toilets.
